For PI system users, the constant challenge has been replacing Excel and enhancing data from control systems. Often, there’s a need to include additional information not available in OT systems but necessary for reports. User feedback also highlighted the inconvenience of multiple logins, prompting a desire for Single Sign-On (SSO) access to centralized information. To address these needs, we’ve integrated OSIsoft PI with Smart RDM. This integration enables users to access third-party forms in the Asset Framework, facilitating data entry and correction, automated report generation, and visualizations through PI Vision. Users can now access all these features from one unified platform.
